Blood Sisters are powerful warriors employed as bodyguards for High Priestesses and Bloodwrack Medusae, or as vanguards for the covens. Each Blood Sister is equipped with a heartshard glaive, a heavy polearm weapon ideal for piercing armor and ribs and tearing out the enemy's heart. Blood Sisters can also channel the darkness of their corrupted souls into a strike called ‘scáth touch’ that solidifies victims, transforming them into motionless crystal statues that are terrifyingly aware. The ultimate cruelty for a Blood Sister is to strike quickly with her scythe, tear out the still-beating heart of the enemy, and hit it with the scáth touch fast enough to turn it to crystal and trap it forever in a state of unimaginable agony. 

This multi-component plastic kit contains the parts necessary to assemble 5 Blood Sisters. The first thing you will notice about these miniatures is their legs (or rather, the lack thereof). Remodeled in the image of their creator Morathi, from the waist down they bear the traits of a sinister twisted snake. A metal belt and a breastplate cover their torso. The faces of the Blood Sisters are obscured by intimidating masks, each sculpted in a fierce expression, and their wild black hair is crowned with snakes. You can assemble 1 of the models as Gorgai, the leader of the unit: she stands out from her companions thanks to her jewel-encrusted mask, her specific heartshard glaive, and the heart of an unfortunate victim that she proudly holds in her left hand as a macabre trophy. 

The Melusai Blood Sisters are made up of 100 components and come supplied with 5 Citadel round bases of 40mm. This kit can also be used to assemble 5 Melusai Blood Stalkers.
