The Khinerai Heartrenders descend from the skies like dark lightning cleaving the clouds. With steam still wrapping around their bodies, the winged aelves halt mid-flight, using the inertia of their movement to hurl their cruel barbed javelins with great force. The spiked lances travel at such speed that they can impale both knights and their mounts, maintaining enough momentum to embed themselves firmly in the ground. However, if they should encounter an inviting target, they may forgo ranged attacks to throw themselves directly into melee combat. 

This multi-part plastic kit contains the necessary parts to assemble 5 Khinerai Heartrenders. Distinguishable from their Lifetaker sisters by their sinister horned helmets, they soar in the sky supported by enormous pointed wings. Their armor is minimal, designed to be more of an aerodynamic aid than a true defense: the armored plates would weigh them down and be a disadvantage for these swift assassins. Each Heartrender wields a long barbed javelin in one hand and a heart-piercing shield in the other; the name of the shield is fitting as it features large, sharp spikes. You can assemble a Shryke, who is the leader of the unit (recognizable by the helmet with veil and the robes). Each model is attached to the base via a sculpted ruin that provides the dynamic, airborne appearance they require. 

The Khinerai Heartrenders are made up of 61 components and come supplied with 5 Citadel round bases of 40mm. This kit can also be used to assemble 5 Khinerai Lifetakers.
